Increase in small home-based businesses equates to growth of content to manage

Small businesses are major players in the U.S. Economy. According to Forbes.com, over 50% of the working population (120 million individuals) works in a small business.

With the advancements in technology it has become easier for people to create and run small businesses, without insurmountable operating expenses, out of their homes. In fact, 52% of all small businesses are home-based (Forbes.com). This has led to small business growth nationwide and changes in the way these businesses operate.

How do they manage the increasing inflow of content to their businesses?

How do they search and find information effectively?

With the increase in information coming in and out of small businesses, (via paper, Microsoft Office, email, digital media, mobile commerce, social media and other electronic avenues), it is becoming extremely challenging for the small business owner to professionally manage and have complete control of their content.

The greatest challenge for a small business owner as their business grows is achieving highly efficient and accurate search results to find information as well as provide content for audits.

We work with many small businesses on document imaging hardware as well as provide ILINX scan2view or ILINX Content Store software that enables small business to search and locate content quickly.

As your business grows, ask yourself – how do you effectively find information that you already have, let alone manage all of that information?

Don’t forget to give us a call if you need help navigating the world of document imaging and managing content.
